Tobias Cabernet

Here is yet another wine that I discovered once again by meandering through the wine department. Something that is definitely unassuming by its simple yet elegant labeling. I am almost ashamed that I hadn't noticed it before now. With its later than average ripening, two years in new French Oak and racking time; the process creates a wonderfully rich and complex juice that has a soft, balanced, and lingering finish. Tobias shows that his cabernet shows layers of complex fruit and hints of oak are far above the juice's understated $40 price tag. This one should definitely leave you and your guests wishing to have another bottle.
