Hill Wine Company Chardonnay

Evening Bloggers! Here is a second wine from Jeff Hill.....It is his Black Dog Chardonnay, aptly named after his black lab....The chard in the bottle is sourced from Yountville and Wildhorse Valley. The grapes coming in from Yountville lends mildly butter flavors and the grapes from Wildhorse gives it depth and richness. This is another one of those diamonds in the rough that I believe is every bit worth its under $18 price tag and then some. For those of you that are looking for something other than a butterball of a Chardonnay but still want some of that texture and flavor, then this is one bottle you want to pass up!

Hill Wine Company Cabernet Sauvignon

Ok, so after much awaited time, I am finally sitting down to give you my next choice in wines. This beauty comes from winemaker Jeff Hill. This is one of our latest additions to our shelves that I am sure will impress! Sourced from a few different appellations throughout Napa Valley (like Rutherford and Coombsville), this magnificent wine has the dustiness to be expected from Rutherford, while the intense flavors are coming from smaller berries that are characteristic from Coombsville. This is a testament of what a Napa Cabernet is! While this wine is intense, the price is not at under $23 a bottle!

1000 Hits!

I can't believe it! We have hit the 1000 mark for views on the blog....That is awesome, I appreciate all of ya'll taking time to read what I have posted. Once again, I have been a busy little bee trying to find the right wines to bring in for ya'll's enjoyment....Not only that but I have been busy putting new wines that our buyers have sent us out on the shelves as well. I have also had the opportunity to visit other stores to see what is selling in those neighborhoods as well and will be researching more to see if some of what I have spotted at other stores will be a match for us as well. So in the meantime, here is some of what I have put out on the shelves over the past couple of weeks: Hill Wine Company (Black Lab wines and Little Rascals wines), Fin Del Mundo wines, Paradise Ridge, 99 West, Tobias, and Stewart. Ch. Brondeau Bordeaux Superior

Looking for an awesome red for this summer's grilling season?  This classic Bordeaux is the answer to your summer and fall (for that matter) grilling wine!
