Those who know the La Flor label know mainly the Malbec that comes from Pulenta Estates. One of  the additions to our collection is this beautiful blend of 45% Malbec, 45% Cabernet, and 10% Merlot.

The aroma is spicy, with notes of cherries and

plums along with a delicate expression of the oak. In

mouth, the wine is soft and velvety with a great

structure from the beginning. The wine is complex

but at the same time harmonious.
 

Michel - Schlumberger Maison Rouge

Blended from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Carmenere, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon,  Petit Verdot, and Malbec; this wonderful wine is layered in bright fruits of cherry and red raspberry.....the earthiness brings home the deliciousness to pair off with a favorite meal or to sit around with friends and tell stories. Now that we are in the new year, I am going through our inventory looking to make room for new labels. Christian and Anastasia Translated

Yes, you read that right! Forget what different shades of grey there are and look for Fifty Shades of Grey White Silk and Red Satin. These white and red wines will surely indulge you in fantasy just as the books have! E.L. James has brought to us an extension of the trilogy that has taken the country by storm. With wine being a frequently referenced object in the books, these are almost like having the personalities of Christian and Anastasia translated into wines!

This decadent blend has flavors of black cherry, cocoa powder, creamy caramel and vanilla, leather and clove spice. With all its richness, it comes at an understated tag of around $15.

Floral aromatics of lychee, honey and pear are tempered by flavors of crisp grapefruit, mineral and lush pear with a faint hint of butterscotch. The playfulness of this wine meets its shyness of price at around $15.

'Tis the Season

O.k. bloggers, by my questimate we have about 8 more shopping days left to shop with us before Christmas. I have been busy, busy trying to match gift giving ideas and food ideas for ya'll. I know ya'll probably been wonderin' how you can meet up and see what I can recommend (at least that's what I dream ya'll are thinkin'). Well, starting Monday I will be at the store everyday that I can legally be sellin' to ya'll.

Swing by on your lunch hour this coming week starting on Monday going through Thursday or come by any time on Friday, Saturday or Monday and Tuesday the week of Christmas to pick up those gifts and gather your goodies for the big dinner! I promise you that I can find something that will suit even the most finicky drinker!
